Ai Policy

AI Usage and Transparency

So…I am not the biggest fan of AI and I have major concerns about AI in creative spaces and the environmental impact its having but there are certain areas of my work that require me to use it and in some cases where I have no choice but to use it (such as when you Google something and the first thing that pops up is the AI overview - blarg!) I am intentional about using AI and try to use it only when necessary and it just makes sense, that way my use is limited and I am limiting my own environmental impact.

In an effort to be as transparent as possible here are the areas where I will not use AI and the areas in which I do. If the list below changes I will update it here whenever possible. I will NEVER use AI for design, photography, logos, etc. as I feel that takes away the part of my work I love the most, (the creativity!) and from opportunities to connect and collaborate with other creatives.

I refuse to use AI in:

  • Website Design

  • Logo Design

  • Imagery (if I suspect an image is AI I will not use it.)

  • Copywriting (I do ask AI for ideas occasionally if I’m stuck)

I DO use AI in:

  • Research

  • Content/Copy Ideas and Refinement

  • SEO (optimization for AIO)

  • Business Strategy Ideas + Blogging (for myself in my own business)
